Sunday Services

Worship is the centre of our community life. All that we do and strive to become has its origins in the divine/human relationship. Worship honours, protects, and inspires this relationship. Worship forms us as a community of faith.

Our main Sunday morning communion services start at 10.00 am. Once a month, usually on the third Sunday, we have a Family Service which is more informal.

Childcare is provided for under 5s each Sunday during the 10:00 a.m. We also have a Sunday School that caters for 5-16 year olds.

Music during our worship services is varied. We have a choir, an organist and a small music group.

Baptisms and Weddings

Baptism is when we welcome a new member into membership of Christ's Church. Traditionally, babies are baptised (or christened), but often adults decide that they want to make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus.

Sharing your baptism or wedding is a privilege that is very special to us at St. Andrew's. If you would liike to talk to us about this, the first step is to come along on a Monday night between 7.00pm and 7.30pm to the vicarage. You don't need an appointment; just turn up!

Baptisms usually take place during the main Sunday morning service. Before the baptism takes place, one of our baptism visitors will call to see you to talk with you about baptism and about the practical arrangements for the baptism service.
