Prayer is a very important part of life at Saint Andrew's. Each morning (from
Monday to Friday) morning prayers are said in church at 8.30 am. We pray regularly
for the local community and we pray for people in all kinds of need - they
may be ill, worried or perhaps they have recently lost loved ones.
If you would like us to pray for you, just contact
us. Tell us what it is you
would like us to pray about, and say whether or not you would like someone
to contact
you - we will respect your wishes.
If you would like to pray yourself but are not sure how, don't worry. Just
talk to God as you would talk to a trusted old friend. Jesus promised us
that God
hears our prayers and he will hear yours too. Don't forget: if you would
like someone to pray for you, all you have to do is get in touch.
If you would like an informal chat about any matter,
please come to the Vicarage on Monday evening between 7.00pm and 7.30pm. You don't need an appointment
- just turn up!
